HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN IBU BALITA DENGAN KEJADIAN DIARE DI WILAYAH KERJAPUSKESMAS DATUK BANDAR TAHUN 2018

Abstract

When viewed kegawatannya, generally assume that diarrhea is an ordinary disease saja.Pada our society generally underestimate this disease, so it is often fatal in terms of handling patients, this is caused due to the application of the principles of rehydration as early as possible has not been implemented by society resulting in late action that may aggravate the pain rehydration, can even lead to death.
This research is a descriptive correlation with cross sectional design of the study is the relationship of disease and exposure (factors research) by observing the status of exposure and disease, simultaneously in individuals of a single population, at some time or period. The location was chosen as a place of research is in the, the reason is because the choice of location in the village Aek Tampang Lk. III there is the incidence of diarrhea in children under five is high enough. The population in this study are all mothers who have young children (aged 0-5 years). The results in this study the distribution characteristics of mothers who have children involved in this study were as many as 61 people and is divided into 3 age groups ie 18-24 years as many as 12 people (36.3), 25-31 years and 32-38 years. From the above table it can be seen the majority of respondents aged 25-31 years as many as 16 people (48.6). Based on the types of jobs are grouped mother on 3 categories: farmers, civil servants and self-employed. Of the 61 respondents majority of farmers mothers work as many as 28 people (45.9) education levels are grouped into 4 categories namely graduates of elementary, junior high, high school and university. Of the 61 respondents majority of respondents had high school as many as 13 people (39.4). majority knowledgeable enough 33 (54.0%). Answer mothers who have children with the majority of who are not with the incidence of diarrhea by 41 people (67.2%).
